  2. Your garden looks beautiful, Daisy! I love the lantana (we grow that an annual). There are definite advantages to living in a warm climate! So nice to see blooms already.

  4. Can you tell me about the pineapples? I live along the Tx Gulf coast and have 5 pineapples growing in pots. I've grown them all from pineapples I've purchased at the store. Two of them will be 2 years this spring. I've heard they produce in their second year, is that correct? Also, do I need to do anything to force them to produce (someone told me to put a very ripe apple in the pot)? Thanks! (PS. I came over after reading your comment on New Life on the Homestead)

    1. Yeah, I'd say about 2 years and you should start getting fruit. I grew them from pineapples I'd purchased also. I haven't heard that about the apple before, but I guess it couldn't hurt! Thanks for visiting! Enjoy your pineapple!
