Your garden looks beautiful, Daisy! I love the lantana (we grow that an annual). There are definite advantages to living in a warm climate! So nice to see blooms already. Hugs, Beth
Can you tell me about the pineapples? I live along the Tx Gulf coast and have 5 pineapples growing in pots. I've grown them all from pineapples I've purchased at the store. Two of them will be 2 years this spring. I've heard they produce in their second year, is that correct? Also, do I need to do anything to force them to produce (someone told me to put a very ripe apple in the pot)? Thanks! (PS. I came over after reading your comment on New Life on the Homestead)
Yeah, I'd say about 2 years and you should start getting fruit. I grew them from pineapples I'd purchased also. I haven't heard that about the apple before, but I guess it couldn't hurt! Thanks for visiting! Enjoy your pineapple!
Wow thing are really moving at your place. We are heading into autumn here.
ReplyDeleteAh, autumn, my favorite time of year. Hope you have gorgeous weather!
