Bloomin' Tuesday

After a week of almost daily rains,
I have been one happy camper and
the garden seems to share that feeling.

native milkweed

lantana

thryallis

black-eyed susan vine

dwarf mondo grass

native mondo grass

lemon tree

with native butterfly vine

cotton plant

peanut

spider plant

holly tree

impatients
(these popped up from nowhere!)

zinnias

morning glory

unidentified vine
growing on the east rain barrel

I'm grateful that I had the rain to listen to
while recuperating.
I can't think of anything more healing.

Glad to be sharing this beautiful bloomin' tuesday with y'all.
Blessed be your gardens.

  1. You have many plants I'm not familiar with; the native butterfly vine sounds interesting.
The pitter patter of rain does have a therapeutic quality to it, doesn't it? Hope you are feeling better.

  2. Looks like a bad invasive, Old World Climbing Fern is your mystery vine. UhOh. If so. Kill it while you can.

  3. Beautiful blooms, Daisy. I can't believe how "loaded" your lemon tree is. How nice!

  4. Just caught up on reading some back posts...so sorry you needed recuperation time. Hope that "hard head" is healing well. (Lame joke, I know.) Being able to look out upon that beautiful, rain-soaked garden must have been a blessing.

  8. Hi Daisy,

I very much enjoyed my tour of your gardens with the yellow blossoms. I tried to grown butterfly weed and it did well for a few years, but then I'm not sure what happened. Your zinnias are so colorful. Beautiful photos.
