1-2-3 Crockpot Chicken

I'm always looking for a way to simplify cooking.
Can't get much easier than the crockpot.

Especially on days when I go to work early
or I have a super busy day ahead,
it's great to know that with a few ingredients
and this handy piece of equipment,
dinner will be ready with very little effort on my part.

Take 8 chicken thighs (or your favorite part),
1 onion, a few carrots
and the spice of your choice
(I used a chicken spice blend and salt).
Easy as 1-2-3!

Slice onions and lay on the bottom of the pot.

Add sliced carrots next.

Chicken pieces with spice mixture go on top.
You can add a few chicken stock cubes,
but it's not necessary.
Select "low" on the crockpot
and cook 6-8 hours.
Enjoy!

  1. This looks super yummy! Does the chicken fall apart or stick to the bone pretty well?
