Spring Obsession is Next Weekend!

Now that my focus is on natives,
it's so exciting to know this about this festival.
Pennies are being saved so that a few
new specimens can be added to our yard.
I can hardly wait to see what's offered this year!
This festival always provides plenty of selection of natives,
as well as Florida-friendly plants.  The vendors are usually
more than happy to share with you all they know.
The workshops presented keep a gardener informed
and allow for those nagging questions
to be answered by experts in the field.
Bring a buggy or wagon,
'cause you're gonna be buyin'!

Spring Obsession
Saturday, March 12, 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Munn Park, Downtown Lakeland

Enjoy a free family day of activities while exploring the many flowers and plants for sale, attend garden presentations, purchase art for the patio and listen to live music from the jazz band Free Time.

Learn about jazzing up your yard from landscaping professionals as part of the garden presentations. There will also be a presentation on rain barrels and water conservation with decorative rain barrels available for purchase ($10 off coupon for attending the workshop)! .
