Daisy, May day used to be a time when little May baskets filled candy and popcorn were left on neighbor's doorsteps. The doorbell would be rung and then we would all run and hide before the door was opened. It was a fun thing to do. I don't know what was behind the tradition and it seems that has been lost throughout the years.
Happy May Day!
ReplyDeleteAnd what a pretty way to greet the day.
Love that native blue-eyed grass!
