Welcome to the Maple Hill Hop,
where we share what's going on outside our doors.
Let's get hoppin'!
It's so nice to be able to hang clothes again.
The humidity of summer here makes it impossible,
so there is another reason to celebrate autumn!
What's goin' on outside your door?
Hi, I enjoy your blog especially the farm series. Convinced me to try growing some vegetables in pots. I live just north of Clermont, Fl so the climate is similar. What are the orange flowers in today's pictures, a type of marigold? Do they self seed ?

Well, howdy, neighbor! You're just right up the road! Thanks for the kind words. Now's a great time to plant here in Central Florida.
DeleteYes, the flowers are marigolds and they do self-seed. I have tons of seeds, if you'd like some. Just email me and I'll send you some.
Hmm. I don't know why my name is showing up instead of the post title. Could you delete my post links #1 and #7 and I will repost them so that doesn't happen. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI will work on that today. Thanks for joining the Hop. ;0D
DeleteI really wish I had a clothesline! I keep begging my hubby to make one for me, but it gets pushed further and further down the to do list!
ReplyDeleteYou'd love it, I just know it. It's Zen...
DeleteI love to have clothes drying on the line. You marigolds look happy. :-)
ReplyDeleteIsn't it just the best?! They are and they make me happy too, every time I look out on them. Enjoy your day!
DeleteI imagine this is a good season for you. For us, we keep trying to avoid that first killing freeze. I grew up hanging clothes outside, and did when the kids were young, until our daughter's allergy doctor said we shouldn't be doing that. I miss doing that. I enjoyed your photos. Thanks for stopping by my blog.
ReplyDeleteSo good to see you here, Sue. Hope you enjoy your weekend.
