I KNOW they're the good guys, but they still creep me out. Yesterday while putting compost on a few "closed" veg. beds, I had a wolf spider pop out-they're HUGE and quite mean looking. That was it for me for the day- LOL!
Well then I guess that WAS her love interest. I know they mate, kill the male, then lay hundreds of eggs in these paper looking balls. The babies stay in there until next spring. Kinda neat, but not so much for the poor guy ;)
