Gluten-Free Pizza Crust

We look forward to homemade pizza at least once a month.
The crust is so easy to make
and with homemade gravy, it really hits the spot.

Not having found a tasty gluten-free store bought bread
that doesn't cause Lil' Guy some reaction,
this recipe fills the bill.
He likes just a little gravy and
browned ground chicken on his,
although any toppings could be added.
This crust is thick and hearty.
Now we can all enjoy pizza nights.

Gluten-Free Bean Flour Pizza Crust

1/4 C bean flour
1 1/4 C gf flour
1/4 t salt
1 t baking powder
1/4 C olive oil
1/2 C rice milk
1 t Italian seasonings
2 cloves minced garlic

Mix dry ingredients in medium bowl.
In separate bowl, combine oil and milk.
Add wet to dry ingredients.
Transfer to baking sheet and flatten to 1/4" thickness.
Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes,
then add toppings and bake another 8 minutes.
Makes 1 pizza.
Enjoy!

  1. It looks delicious - nice and flaky. I love homemade pizza and since we've been eating only homemade I find that purchased at a pizza place too greasy, cheesy and just plain yuck. :)

    1. Isn't it funny how we get used to our own cooking and then store bought just doesn't cut it? ;0)
