Pasta Salad

This pasta salad is so easy.
It's a great way to clean out your fridge.
We had some leftover peas & carrots from another night's supper.
With the heat of summer upon us,
we'll be eating more things
that don't require the use of the oven.
This recipe doesn't contain mayonnaise,
so it's safe to leave out a while.

Pasta Salad
2 C pasta (we used farfalle)
1 C veggies
1/2 C diced cheddar cheese
1/4 C black olives

Cook pasta al dente.
If using fresh veggies, steam until tender.
Toss veggies, pasta, olives and whatever other fixin's you desire
with dressing.
Add cheese cubes and refrigerate at least 2 hours.
Can be served room temperature.
Enjoy!

  5. That looks so pretty. We do one similar and use cucumbers and little tomatoes. I will have to try the bow ties next time.
