A lovely list - I agree! Thanks for making me pause. Me? …every starry night, pink/purple sunsets, snuggles from a dog, scent of springtime lilacs, adventure roads with my daughter.
Every piece of wood for the woodstove, ping of the canning jars sealing, snore of the pup sleeping by the hearth, and ray of sunshine coming through the window.
Every... morning I get to wake when my body is ready, not to the sound of an alarm, lesson learned from any past pain, feline purr and mew heard, and snowflake falling from the sky....is definitely a gift.
