You'd think someone who'd been through an event
like Hurricane Andrew
and lived to tell about it wouldn't much like storms.
But what a sight for sore eyes this was...
What a great way to start off the weekend!

I hope
(choose the appropriate response):
a) the sun is shining
or
b) the rain is pouring
where you are.
Enjoy your day,
whatever the weather!
Woo Hoo no watering the lawn;)
ReplyDeleteNope, and all three rain barrels are full. I'm a happy camper.
ReplyDeleteWe've had such an unusally wet year that we're grateful whenever the sun shines.
ReplyDeleteHeather-It seems like it's feast or famine all over!
ReplyDeleteI definitely would choose "B" and yeah, we got lots of rain, too. And, I don't care if it ruined any plans I had for the day...the rain was most welcome.
ReplyDeleteMy Mother in Law lives in Sanford.
ReplyDeleteYou all have been in need of rain, at least when we were down there in late May!
Thank you for your kind comment on my blog today!

3 rain barrels??? Lucky! I swear one of these days I'm going to buy one of those thousand gallon tanks !! We can go weeks without rain and with sand for soil, a JUMBO water storage system would be great.
ReplyDeleteGlad you got some much needed rain!
:)
Susan-I hear ya!
ReplyDeleteMrs. Rabe-Welcome! Yes, we've been quite dry for the last couple of "rainy" seasons.
Sue-The barrels really come in handy. I got them from our local extension center. Hope you get yours soon!
