It IS easy, David. How funny that we have the same slow cooker. It belonged to Big K's mom. ;0)daisy ghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06129079277073067462noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6205621545063667402.post-84614497828515451362014-08-30T06:07:31.297-04:002014-08-30T06:07:31.297-04:00I can't see any reason to buy it when it is so...I can't see any reason to buy it when it is so easy to make yourself! Is the milk you use store bought milk that's been pasteurized and homogenized or is it raw milk? You make it look extremely easy. I might have to give it a try again. Your crockpot looks exactly like mine. Even the decorations around the upper rim are the same. I'm glad to hear that you can consume milk products again. It seems that allergies are on the rise. Never did I hear of any one that had peanut allergies when I was growing nor did I ever hear about lactose allergies or wheat allergies. The only allergies that were prevalent were the environmental ones caused by pollen. I've seen what happens with a friend of mine who is lactose intolerant when she gives in and fudges a little on the diet. It's not pretty and it takes a couple days to recover from the stomach cramps.

Have a great crockpot yogurt making day.Davidhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00571521947867768070noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6205621545063667402.post-53860193649612498302014-08-28T20:18:19.580-04:002014-08-28T20:18:19.580-04:00I've never missed commercial yogurt since maki...I've never missed commercial yogurt since making my own. We love it. Just like you suggest, we swirl a little honey or homemade jam in when we want it sweetened. And sometimes I add fresh scraped vanilla beans to the batch. :) Yummy!!Staci@LifeAtCobbleHillFarmhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12970355437338210130noreply@blogger.com
