I do the like the four distinct seasons here in Nebraska. It's great to be able to look forward to the next season when the current one is winding down.<br /><br />The weather is still unusually cool this year. The summer has been scary cool. We have had mostly 50s and 60s for temperatures at night and rarely above the 80s during the day. It's great for saving on utilities but lousy for growing gardens. The warm weather crops are a bust for every one this year. It would have been a good year to concentrate on peas, cabbage, onions, and potatoes. I'm still concentrating on fence building and bed rejuvenation. I could put in some fall garden plants but the leaves are beginning to fall which is an indication the fall weather is near. I'm not sure what that will be because .... well .... we have had fall weather all summer.
