Daisy, you've got me thinking with the cans I can just put them back in the pantry but with weights I will have to find a place to put them. Thanks for the tips. I admire your thriftiness and innovative style. I have been a member of a *total body shred* program for the past 5 years. It part of a wellness center not far from where I live. As much as I garden I find that strength training, cardio and yoga still need to be added to my routine. They go hand in hand. I build strength for the long term taking my fitness classes. It gives me the endurance I need to garden long hours and not feel like I'm wiped out at the end of the day. It all adds up together which makes for a healthy lifestyle. Thanks for all your tips and tricks. I always enjoy them. Gardening has to be the ...Daisy, I'm with Sue. Gardening has to be the best exercise there is. It requires bending, squatting, pulling, twisting, walking, and many other muscle exercising tasks. A winter exercise that I enjoy is shoveling snow. The neighbors don't share my joy at all. Many times I'll just use a shovel instead of cranking up the snow blower. But then I'm just a crazy old coot with lots of retired time on my hands. :-)

Have a great thrifty exercise Thursday.Davidhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00571521947867768070noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6205621545063667402.post-10600427570808693912015-02-19T07:16:55.173-05:002015-02-19T07:16:55.173-05:00Gardening is, of course, my favorite way to get ex...Gardening is, of course, my favorite way to get exercise. But, I also hike, bike, and ski. I'd love to get a treadmill again, but that's not on the agenda at this point. I miss running on one with the music cranked full blast.
Have a great day, Daisy
We are at MINUS 17 right now. Ugh.Suehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10122524042294993949noreply@blogger.com
