I saw a bug out by the coop the other day that was very intriguing - I'd never seen one before. I ran in to grab my camera so I could send you the picture to see if you knew what it was but it was gone. Bummer. It was beautiful. I'll keep a look out for another. No wait every day is my favorite post of the week. It's fascinating to me to see the unique gardening methods of your friends in Florida.

We had a horrific wind storm blow through last night and power was off for about three hours. It rattled a few small sticks out of the sycamore tree in the front yard but other than that all is well. It flatten the potato plants but they will survive and knocked down the lettuce. All the caged plants like tomato and bell peppers made it through without damage. It's good that I didn't have the cucumbers out yet. All the potted plants waiting to be planted were in the back of my truck safely in the garage. Weather always throws us some ringers, doesn't it.

Have a great farm school day.Davidhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00571521947867768070noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6205621545063667402.post-8455920305895914252014-06-02T08:06:23.474-04:002014-06-02T08:06:23.474-04:00Yes, I can't imagine the garden being done now...Yes, I can't imagine the garden being done now! We just planted seedlings yesterday...with more to go in today...and then more seeds to put in the ground as well! I am dreaming of fresh tomatoes, but as of now, the only thing I am harvesting from my garden is rhubarb...a lot of rhubarb. Luckily we all love it :-) Heatherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12261179479821073705noreply@blogger.com
