The grounds around his office
recently got a makeover.
It was good to see that it is all Florida-friendly.
I wish I had some before photos,
but trust me when I tell you that it's a big improvement.
A few well-placed walking stones,
some mulch and drought-resistant plant material
make it a nicer place to be.
Low-growing species will ensure that
a minimum of maintenance will be needed
to keep up the garden.
The swing is a nice touch for those who are on a break.
The volunteers did a great job
installing the plants and mulch.
It's good to know that the county is doing what it can
to save water and create a more appealing work venue.
It looks great! The swing is the perfect place to take a break or eat a snack.
